I am so happy to introduce myself as the Founder of SimplyYou Wellness Services. As you may have noticed, my passion for the field started with my love for food, its ability to make you feel satisfied, enhance your quality of life by warding off diseases, and its ability to be a major part of creating memorable moments with family and friends. Food is indeed essential! 

I embarked on the journey successfully completing a BSc. Human Nutrition and Dietetics followed by a Dietetic Internship at the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine. Upon registering as a dietitian, I gained experience at the said university in the department of the Health Services Unit and took off from there, now functioning as the Dietitian representing the Jamieson supplements brand. 

Mother and Career Woman 

As a mother and a career woman through all my advancements my family has been my greatest support system and motivator, especially my daughter with her vibrant spirit. The idea of starting a private practice was a somewhat distant thought but the urge to make a change or rather contribute to the change one person at a time allowed me to bring my ideas to life and serve you. 

As wellness is becoming more and more important, I am here to help you make informed choices regarding nutrition in weight loss, type II diabetes, risk and management of high cholesterol and high triglycerides, and even polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). The goal is to put knowledge into practice. 

Wellness Journey 

I am also on my wellness journey, a lifetime student to the ever-changing world. Notably, this understanding didn’t happen overnight. A little insight, as my healthy lifestyle habits shifted to whatever was convenient to satisfy my hunger and temporarily relieve my stress just to stay awake to complete assignments or meet work deadlines. I was rudely awakened by weight gain and fatigue. Knowledge is power, however we are all human, the stressors of life can take its toll, but we must have a support system and the will power to push forward and always make conscious efforts for betterment not only through nutrition but also through all decision making.  

Overcoming Challenges 

We definitely know getting started is challenging, even maintaining the momentum can be a greater challenge, however, working with me, you won’t be alone. Leave the heavy lifting to me.
